How this website works

This is a static information website. It has no registration, embedded tracking code or advertising cookies. Images and fonts are served from this website through Cloudflare.

Automatic language selection

On the root address, we first check your saved choice, then your browser language list. A Hungarian language setting selects Hungarian. Otherwise we use the country signal from Cloudflare, which serves the website: Hungary selects Hungarian; other countries select English. If the country is unavailable, English is used.

The browser requests the country only from this website; there is no separate geolocation service. Our application code does not store your IP address or country. Direct /hu/ and /en/ URLs do not use automatic country detection.

Remembering your choice

The HU / EN switch stores your choice in browser local storage under y-language. You can remove it by clearing this website’s browser data. The switch still works if local storage is blocked, but cannot remember your choice.

Contact and external sites
