ABOUT / THE FOUNDER
Y is an innovation hub where engineering, entrepreneurial experience and investment connections come together.

ENGINEER. ENTREPRENEUR. INVESTOR.
Technology matters most to me when it solves a real problem and works well enough to become part of everyday life.
A computer science engineer and co-founder of iData. His work in vehicle tracking, fuel control and data processing shares one principle: understand the whole system. Physical measurement, software and the customer’s operation all matter.
Building a company also means leading people. iData appeared in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 in 2012, 2013 and 2014. András received Hungary’s Young Leader of the Year award in 2015. Today he applies that experience to technology ventures and investment connections.
Lead development at Trackstar.hu, then Sat-Markt. Web-based GPS tracking, data collection and fleet systems.
He began teaching systems engineering and collaborative development at BME in 2004. He researched encrypted VoIP in 2006–2009 and earned his master’s degree in 2009.
After co-founding iData in 2005, he served as lead developer, then CTO, and became CEO in 2017. Development grew into technology strategy and company leadership.

C3S
Mesegép, Oregano Prime and Proxima are Y’s own projects. C3S, TerraSky.ai and aifleet connect to this world through András’s personal investments. iData is a successful founder exit: it joined NORBIT in 2021. They share an interest in deep technology and in building useful businesses.
The focus spans early startups and companies preparing for their next stage of maturity. The connection is not one industry, but a question: what can technology solve substantially better?
